WARNER ARCHIVE: Westward the Women, Plus 11 More in New Wave

In their most prolific wave this year, Warner has announced 12 new titles for release over at WBShop. All will be available here at ClassicFlix on May 22nd.

William Wellman's Westward the Women (1951) is probably the most sought after of this week's titles. Starring Robert Taylor, this wagon-train saga features the recently deceased Denise Darcel as well as Hope Emerson and Julie Bishop.

The rest are a mishmash of entertaining comedies and dramas:

  • Penrod's Double Trouble (1938) - Billy Mauch, Bobby Mauch, Dick Purcell, Gene Lockhart, Kathleen Lockhart
