Proving that patience is a virtue, many that held off on buying Get Smart which was previously distributed exclusively through Time Life, are being rewarded by the release of Get Smart - Season 1 on August 5th. Less expensive than the Time Life set, this general release from **HBO** will retail for $24.98, but is available at Classicflix.com for only $18.99.
Also, according to TVShowsonDVD.com, the four disc set will be a bare-bones release that will not include the 5th bonus disc in the Time Life set.
